Dubai: Transguard Group, a leading business solutions provider, has secured a significant contract renewal with the British Embassies in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This renewed agreement, which extends the original contract signed in 2019, will see Transguard continue its security services for the next five years.

Commitment to excellence

Nick Beer, Chief Financial Officer of Transguard Group, expressed enthusiasm about the renewal. "This extension highlights the professionalism of our team and our unwavering commitment to the highest standards for our clients," said Beer. "Since our initial contract began in 2019, we've navigated through a rapidly changing global landscape. Our team's adaptability and response to these changes have been crucial in earning this renewal. We are excited to further strengthen our relationship with the British diplomatic missions."

Acknowledgment of outstanding performance

British Ambassador Edward Hobart CMB praised Transguard’s performance, noting, “From the outset of our partnership in 2019, Transguard’s security team has set an exceptional standard. Their impressive handling of various emergency scenarios, including the Covid-19 crisis, has been instrumental in ensuring our embassy and consulate’s continuity.”

Recognition and future plans

At a recent signing ceremony, the security team in Abu Dhabi received appreciation certificates for their exemplary service, particularly during the severe storms in April 2024. A similar recognition event is planned for the Dubai team.

Under the renewed contract, Transguard will continue to provide daily security services and protective support for diplomatic events at both embassies, including garden parties and national celebrations.
